Tame Fury

Tame Fury formed in 2013 when Lead Vocalist Michael McVey accepted a slot to open for iconic rockers Dokken. He enlisted well known drummer Phred Williams to play and they hooked up with a guitarist and bass player to do the show which ironically was the band's very first show period. It went so well that offers for other shows started to roll in. In October 2013, Tame Fury recruited Phred's former bandmate, Mark Bankston, to take over lead guitarist duties. In 2016, the band welcomed Phred's son Brandon to form a twin-guitar attack and bassist Erick Villareal.

The band has since played a string of successful shows opening for national acts including Ace Frehley, Night Ranger, Black Stone Cherry, The Dead Daisies, Buckcherry, Bret Michaels, Stryper, Dangerous Toys, Skid Row, L.A. Guns, Faster Pussycat, Geoff Tate, Stephen Pearcy, Jack Russell, Sebastian Bach, Steelheart, Red Dragon Cartel, Ron Keel, Mike Tramp, dUg Pinnick, FLAW, Seasons After, and a host of others and their roster continues to grow.

In this episode, we chat with TAME FURY and delve into the told untold stories of the band, and the members. One of the Special Guests has already been on our show! Yes, the frontman, vocalist of TAME FURY, and the 'Henchman' of Stefan Adika of Coffee Talk, MICHAEL McVEY!
